Leelanau County maintains geographic information in an ESRI format. Maps can be made to order. Shapefiles are also available for purchase from the Planning office.

Printed parcel maps, by section, are available from the Equalization office.

Leelanau County administers low-income housing programs through the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). With the assistance of grants, loans and other funds, Leelanau County and its partners coordinate home rehabilitation or replacement for qualified homeowners, and construct new housing for sale to qualified applicants.

The planning library (link below) includes resources on planning and zoning laws, tools and techniques, and natural resource management. The planning library was compiled by the Land Information Access Association (LIAA).

The Leelanau County Planning and Community Development office administers the County's recycling and solid waste programs, and provides staff support to the County Solid Waste Council.
