The mission of this committee is to monitor the marina facilities, services and usage and to make improvement suggestions to the Township Board, so that as the marina continues to develop, it will be all it can be for our community.

To do this the committee will:

1.      Serve as an advisory committee to the Township Board and report regularly to the Board.

2.      Review and propose updates as necessary to the marina mission statement.

3.      Propose a long-term plan for the marina.

4.      Propose improvements for the marina taking into consideration the marina mission and input from marina users, Elmwood citizens and professional suggestions, while keeping in mind financial constraints involved.

5.      Review existing policies, operating procedures, marina rules, marina staff job descriptions, etc. for any needed clarification, improvement or updating.
