These applications are for all Township residents and businesses operating within the Township who wish to dispose of Septage waste on land within Centerville Township. Applicants must meet all requirements of the most recent revision of the Centerville Township Zoning Ordinance including, but not limited to, Section 13.7: Requirements for Site Plan and Section 13.8: Septage Disposal. Note that because the land application of septage waste is allowed as a special use in the Agricultural District, the applicant must meet the requirements of Site Plan Review and submit a Site Plan Review Application.
The applications must be administratively complete and accompanied by an application fee before they will be considered by the Centerville Township Planning Commission. All required state and federal permits shall be obtained prior to the special use being granted, and copies of all applicable permit approvals must be attached to the applications. All submissions to the Planning Commission must include five (5) copies of both applications and must be forwarded to the Chair of the Planning Commission at least 14 days prior to any public meeting where the applications will be considered.
These Permits do not preclude the need for approvals or permits from other Federal, State, County, or Municipal authorities as may be required by law. Permittee further agrees to indemnify and not to sue Centerville Township and all of its departments, agencies, boards, commissions, officers, employees, or agents from any and all liability arising under or in any manner related to the issuance of these Permits or the privileges granted under a Permit.
