Northwest Michigan Transportation Alliance
Northwest Michigan Transportation Alliance (NMTA) is a collaboration of more than 20 human service agencies, non-profits, and local businesses who seek to expand transportation options in Grand Traverse, Leelanau and Benzie counties.  NMTA coordinates Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for residents of the Traverse Bay area. Volunteers pick up clients at their homes, drive them to their doctor's appointments and the pharmacy, and take them home. Go to www.bata.net or call 888-228-7743 for more information.
