Empire Volunteer Fire Department is located at 11530 S LaCore Street. This Fire Department building was built in 1982. The Fire Chief is Ryan Deering and the Assistant Fire Chief is Doug Lake.
The Fire Hall is used as a training room for the Fire Department but also as a meeting room for others to use, such as Village Council, Planning Commission, ZBA and etc. This room is also used to serve the local quilters who get together to make quilts to be raffled off by the Fire Department and the Museum.
