In an effort to ensure that quality recreational opportunities are provided for its citizens, both current and future, Leelanau County has created the Leelanau County Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This Plan is intended to serve as a guide for the development of parks and recreation facilities and locations over the next five years and beyond. This Plan is further intended to make the County eligible for grants from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and to assist the County in achieving its recreational goals. |
