Townships and Villages>Bingham>Township Staff - Zoning Administrator

Zoning Administrator's Page

Bingham is a zoned township with the first zoning ordinance placed in effect on February 8, 1978. As such, each parcel of land resides within a
specific land use district; Agricultural, Residential, Commercial and/or Industrial. The Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance serves as a guide for changes to existing entities (i.e., current land uses and structures), as well as future growth. The ordinance is derived from the Comprehensive Plan.  You may view the Ordinance on-line on the Home Page (IMPORTANT NOTE: the version currently on the website may be out of date until the new administrator has the opportunity to check the entire document).  Updated hard copies of the Zoning Ordinance are available at the township office.

Please call Zoning Administrator Steve Patmore, 231.271-2722, with questions regarding the Bingham Township Zoning Ordinance.

Steve works out of the Suttons Bay Township Office, 321 Saint Joseph St, Suttons Bay, Tuesday and Thursday, 9am-noon.
