Rules for Public Comments at Meetings

Speakers shall petition the chairperson by raising their hand.

Speakers shall rise (when possible) when recognized by the chairperson.

Speakers shall first clearly state their name and address for the meeting minutes.

Speakers will then be permitted two minutes to speak.

The chairperson will indicate when speaker's time has expired.

The speaker may continue for three minutes if at least two members of the Planning Commission are in support.

Speakers shall not engage other members of the audience but shall address the chairperson.

Speakers deemed by the Planning Commission to be disruptive will be asked to leave.
