A bustling town nestled between Sleeping Bear Bay on Lake Michigan and the Glen Lakes, Glen Arbor is home to many shops and restaurants. Grab a burger at Art's Tavern and gawk at the two headed fish, or relax with a fresh roasted cup of coffee from Leelanau Coffee Roasting while strolling though wonderful village stores. For the gardener, be sure to stop in at Wildflowers for unique accessories and local know-how. If the kids aren't up to the big dune climb head out to Glen Haven just south of Glen Arbor and roll around on more manageable dunes and take a dip in the big lake at one of the prettiest beaches in the county. The old Coast Guard Lifesaving Station is a must see. It's now the Maritime Museum of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon after hitting the dunes!
