What We Do:
The Register of Deeds office maintains and preserves the land records of Leelanau County. The primary requirement of the office is to record deeds, mortgages, liens, surveys, plats, land contracts, condominiums, financing statements, related documents and other miscellaneous real estate documents, instruments pertaining to the transfer and encumbrances of all land and properties within Leelanau County.
